Indian Rogan Josh with Irish Lamb

Tender braised lamb with aromatic spices.
Rogan Josh, which roughly translates to “red heat”, is a classic meat dish from Kashmir, which we prepare from scratch starting with top quality Wicklow lamb. We have gathered all the authentic herbs, spices and fresh ingredients and prepared them according to traditional methods to give you a really healthy and seriously tasty Indian experience. We use our own lamb stock and we make the coconut yoghurt in our kitchen too.
Diced Lamb, Onion, Coconut Yoghurt, Lamb Stock (Celery), Tomato Puree, Almonds (Tree Nuts), Garlic & Ginger Paste [Garlic, Ginger, Water], Sunflower Oil, Kashmiri Chilli powder, Coriander Seeds, Turmeric, Fennel Seeds, Mace, Fresh Bay Leaf, Dried Cloves, Black Cardamom Seeds, Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks, Sea Salt.

Nutrition & Portions Explained
350g portion is appropriate for a healthy & active adult with a good appetite.
250g portion is designed to meet the Recommended Daily Allowances for each ingredient and is ideal for those following a weight control plan.
Serve scattered with coriander, with plain basmati.
These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a different set of power ratings. Adjust accordingly. Make sure your food is piping hot (>70°C) before serving.
For best results use your conventional oven.
Puncture the cellophane several times before placing in microwave
From Frozen : Use the Defrost Program or low power for about 15 minutes. Shake or stir the contents and then return at high power for 2/3 minutes more to ensure that it is piping hot.
Defrosted : High Setting for about 3/4 minutes.
On the hob:
Transfer contents to saucepan and heat slowly until piping hot. Remember to add water to prevent the sauce drying out.
Conventional fan oven:
Preheat oven to 200ºC. Puncture the cellophane several times before placing in oven for about 30 mins. If defrosted, reduce cooking time to 20 minutes.
