Irish Style Fish Cakes

GF / LF / SF / 621cal in a 450g Portion of two cakes.

For those of you who don't fancy Thai Style fishcakes, we've made some equally delicious Irish-style fish cakes. Irish rooster potato and parsley, salmon and haddock, and a dash of organic lemon zest, all wrapped up in lovely toasted panko breadcrumb. Serve it up with some steamed greens for a very healthy meal.

Ingredients

Potato, Onion, Salmon(Fish), Haddock(Fish), Free Range Egg, Panko Breadcrumb(Gluten Free), Flour (Gluten Free), Fish Sauce(Fish), Lactose Free Milk, Rapeseed oil, Parsley, Nutmeg, Black pepper, Sea Salt.

450g portion containing two fish cakes is appropriate for a healthy & active adult with a good appetite or two kids to share.

Serving suggestion

Delicious on its own with a green leaf salad and a dash of lemon.

Cooking  Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a different set of power ratings. Adjust accordingly. Make sure your food is piping  hot (>70ºC) before serving.

For best results reheat from frozen and use conventional fan oven

Conventional fan oven:

From Frozen: Pre-heat the oven to about 180ºC. Cook the Fishcakes gently on an oven tray for about 25/35 minutes and until golden brown.

Shallow Fry:

Pre-heat some oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the Fishcakes gently for about 8/10 minutes each side until golden brown.
