Peppered Chicken Goujons

Pieces of free-range chicken in seasoned panko breadcrumb.
We take fresh free-range Irish chicken mini-fillets and wrap them in our own coating of seasoned panko bread crumb and free-range egg batter. You can take them straight from the freezer and cook them slowly under the grill or, Missy Kayla's favourite, in the pan in some rapeseed oil (or whichever cooking oil you have).

200g: This is appropriate for a healthy & active adult with a good appetite or maybe for two lighter eaters to share.
Delicious serves with a dipping sauce and a side salad.

For best results cook from frozen and shallow fry.
On the hob
From Frozen/Defrosted: Fry in shallow oil over low/medium heat, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
On the grill
From Frozen: Pre-heat the grill at medium heat. Cook the goujons gently for about 7/8 minutes each side until golden brown.
