Murgh Makhani

Regular price €8.95

 GF / 472 Cal in a 300g Portion

Free-range chicken in a buttery and spicy tomato sauce.

Murgh Makhani is a dish typical of the Kashmir province of India. Our version is close to the dish as is made in homes across Kashmir, with chopped tomato and cashew nuts. We marinate the Free Range Chicken Breast in Garlic & Ginger Paste and Natural Yoghurt. We leave it for twenty-four hours before baking it tandoor style, and then adding it to the creamy buttery sauce which is flavoured with a gentle dash of Kashmiri Chilli Powder, Fenugreek Leaf, Garam Masala, Turmeric and Fresh Coriander. The result is lovely tender chicken in a thick and smooth aromatic sauce that is as nutritious as it is tasty.

This dish is not so hot so it won't make you cry or have you chewing on ice pops.

Emergency dinners

We often find that we get to 7pm and have not managed to organise dinner. Recently, in an attempt to improve from the inevitable takeaway I have gone back to Kaylas Kitchen for help. We had the Murgh Makani last week and it was delicious. Very happy to order that again.
