Emmett's Easy Rhubarb Sauce

  1. Place chopped rhubarb in a pot with some finely chopped stem ginger or fresh ginger, some orange zest and a squeeze oforange juice, a pinch of cinnamon, a big splash of sugar and a good puddle of water.
  2. Bring to the boil over a medium heat and then simmer with the lid off until the rhubarb has gone all mushy.
  3. Serve over vanilla ice cream and try not to grin too much.
